Industry Connections
AIE Melbourne fosters strong connections with all of the local game development houses and 3D animation studios, giving our students real pathways into the games and 3D industries. We provide students with the opportunity to talk to industry professionals through guest lectures, seminars and industry open days; providing opportunities for learning, networking and showcasing of student portfolios to potential employers.
Much of the course work is designed to provide students with a learning environment that emulates industry experience. While detailed instruction is provided, problem solving is encouraged as to equip our graduates with both the technical and problem solving skills required for a successful career in games or animation.
AIE Melbourne is the first place games studios visit when looking for skilled artists and programmers.
